Administration of DSView
 
 

The following instructions are to be performed on the DSR Administration Server which is located in the back of  Test Cell 1.
Add "User name or login" into the Users on the DSR Admin machine.
 

1)  Select "Start", "Settings", and select "Control Panel".

2)  In the Control Panel, double click on "Administrative Tools".

3)  Double click on "Computer Management".

4)  Scope down to "System Tools", "Local Users and Groups", and select "Users".

5)  Right mouse click on Users and select "New User".

6)  Fill in the new User Name, Full Name, Description, Password, and Confirm Password, then click "Create".

7)  To change password, selec user, right mouse click, and select "Set Password".

8)  On the desktop of the DSR Administration Server, double click the "DSAdmin" icon.

9)  In the topology, scope down to the TC6 Network and into INS Testing down to DSR21 (our black box).

10)  Select the device you wish to add this user to and right mouse click and click "Permissions"

11)  Click the "Browse" button, find the user, then click "Add".

12)  Follow the above instructions 9-11 to add this user to the DSR6 (b80aix10x) DSR.
